Troop 122 Meetings

Troop 122 meets all year round.

What When
Where Purpose
Troop Meeting
7-9PM Tuesday

Troop meetings serve to motivate boys, strengthen patrols, promote patrol spirit, learn and practice Scouting skills, organize future activities, and exercise leadership.
Third Thursday 7-9PM
The patrol leaders' council is made up of the senior patrol leader, who presides over the meetings; the assistant senior patrol leader, all patrol leaders, and the troop guide. Patrol Leaders present the ideas and concerns of their patrol and in turn share the decisions of the patrol leaders' council with their patrol members.  The patrol leaders' council plans the yearly troop program at the annual troop program planning conference. It then meets monthly to fine-tune the plans for the upcoming month.
Committee Meeting
Third Thursday
The troop committee is made up of the committee chair, who presides over the meetings; the secretary, treasurer, advancement chair, equipment coordinator, outdoors/activities chair, membership chair, training chair, and other adult volunteers.  The scoutmaster and on occasion, the charter organization rep and unit commissioner attend the meetings.   The Troop  committee's primary responsibilities are supporting the Scoutmaster in delivering a quality troop program and handling troop administration.
Last Tuesday of each Month
The board of review is a meeting held individually with Scouts who are up for advancement to ensure they have completed all of the requirements, to determine the quality of their troop experience, and to encourage them to advance toward the next rank.
COH Last Tuesday of each Quarter
The Court of Honor is a formal recognition ceremony with families and friends for Scouts who have moved up in rank or earned merit badges and other awards.
